Teaching Philosophy
I view teaching as a mean to: excite, inspire, and awaken curiosity to think logically. This could be achieved by instructing in several ways, for example by sharing subjective experiences, giving several examples or through perception. Academic teaching is a crucial part of the student career, and so teaching in such environment should be concise and clear regarding communication. Consequently, one of my career goals is to become a great educator and mentor.
Teaching Interest
I teach General and physical and Organic chemistry classes, at beginning and advanced levels. In addition to these core classes, I enjoy teaching special topics courses such as Introduction to Medicinal Chemistry, Computational Chemistry for organic and Medicinal Chemist as well as Computational chemistry for physical chemist. My extensive formation as a physical chemist also enables me to handle introductory physics classes.
